When I was younger I sold lemon aide... I didnt get in trouble with it. Lemon aide is same as pop IMO. I dont see any harm in it..

I had a lemon aid stand when I was 5-6. It was one of my very first dealings with money and responsibility. It resulted in my first bank account and my first earned money.
A city official should have the ability to make a judgement call on what truly violates regulations.
Children this age should be encouraged to take on this type of venture instead of being discouraged.

When I first heard about it, I thought they were selling home made lemonade from the impression the article gave.

It kind of sours the deal that they were selling cans of coke, bottles of water, etc though - it's probably fair enough the more I think about it (but pretty ruthless all the same).

Well, the government gives big tax breaks to the huge corporations who do not even have to pay taxes - so they go after kid’s lemonade stand to make up the money.
