Hello Everyone,
I found this forum a couple days ago and it has definetely helped me considerably in the search of a web host and credit card processing for the TEXMOTO Magazine. Thanks to ya'll for all the support and help provided through this forum. It's very much appreciated.
Several of you have recommended credit card processing companies such as Charge.com, QuickCommerce, Plug'NPlay, EZMerchantAccounts and others. I've checked them all and like a few of them for the features and rates they offer. But I have to wonder how realistic the rates they quote are. Most of them publish what seem to be pretty good discount rates but, of course, those rates can't apply to everyone, as different applicants will have different credit ratings and sales volumes.
My question to anyone with experience with the above mentioned companies or any other credit card processor is how well the advertised rates compared to the rates offered in the final contract and the rates after an actual sales volume has been established? Were there any surprises (hidden fees, variable rates, etc.) not anticipated in the beginning?
Thanks much again,
Miguel
