I changed the IP numbers on my name servers 57 hours ago. Shouldn't this have had time to work through the system?
When I do a whois on my domain it gives the correct name server and IP addresses, but when I check on the other domains using these name servers, they still have the correct name server, but the IP address have not updated.

It can take up to a week or more for your nameserver changes to percolate through the Internet. Some parts of the country/world will be able to resolve your domain sooner than others. Don't panic, that's the way it works.
The best way to check is by doing traceroutes. Go to http://samspade.org and try it there. There are other Web sites that let you trace from different parts of the world, but I can't recall. Anyone. . .?

traceroute.org allows you to trace from different locations around the world to your current location.

Some ISPs may take as long as two to four weeks to update their DNS information :(
So, as Alchiba was saying, don't panic. Give it some more time.
