Is there anyone using program like mail2web or neomail to fetch pop emails from any account.
What are the +ve and -ve part of these programs. Please let me know.

Which one is like mail2web?
Is it freeware ?

We use Mail_Fetch. I haven't tried the others, but Mail_Fetch works fine (kind of like Hotmail's POP3 checker, but you can only check 1 POP3 account, at least at the time we installed it).

And yes, it's all free.

Well, you install and configure SquirrelMail (extremely easy, it has a shell-based control panel for configuration). Your installation of PHP must have IMAP support.

When that is working, download the plugin, put it into a directory called "plugins" or something, run the control panel from a shell, hit option 8, have it look for a plugin, when it finds Mail Fetch, just hit its number and it's installed automagically. All those steps together take about 5 seconds to complete.

It takes time to read things and understand how SquirrlMail works, but after that, configuration is a breeze. Read the documentation on their site if you want more detailed information. They have great documentation and explain everything very well (a lot better than I can ever explain it :)).

When we installed Mail Fetch, it could only check 1 POP3 account. You go to the Mail Fetch configuration within the Webmail (just like Hotmail) and you set your POP3 settings for ONE POP3 account. Hotmail can support something like 10 POP3 accounts.

Mail Fetch may have added multiple account support recently, but I haven't checked lately so I do not know.

anyone can use with only php + pop, or ASP + pop

because our server don't have IMAP, only PHP, I want the script can really run good with only using PHP to check pop3 email, like hotmail or yahoo.

Only pure php or perl code, don't need others modules, because I have try few mail program, they need IMAP or C-client.....

all I can not use
