I recieve an offer from them today, and their prices seem pretty good, kinda grab you on some of the setup fees though =\

Anyways, I've never heard of them before, and their site seems very informal for a professional hosting site.

Can anybody give me some more information on them?

(If this might get a better response in another forum please move it)

Hi,

I have a website ( client ) hosted with m6.net the last 2 years. You get fairly good support and affordable rates with them.

If I am not mistaken, M6.net is based in Australia but their data centers or their servers are located in Huntsville, AL, US.
If you are looking for a local or 100% U.S company, consider others. Nevertheless, the internet is borderless. Having a data center in U.S while based in Australia is as good as an office near you since you can call them at 1888 726 9216 (U.S).

Their data centers uses separate switched 10Mbps Ethernet LAN's on their virtual hosting server farm, office administration and monitoring network, while on the domain server side and Network access servers, it is on a 100Mbps LAN.

Most of their plans are Windows 2000 based, so if your technical intention is to work around CGI, PHP or mysql, it is not your choice, but still, most webmasters has switched to host their site on Windows 2000 considering the ease of use, manageability and scalability.

They also have dedicated web hosting services.
If you have make up your mind to use M6.net hosting services, go ahead. They are okay.

Alternatively, if you are still undecided, you can still look around. Remember, getting a good support from a web hosting company is important, so the the price with the same hosting and software specification may varies a lot from companies to companies because of this.

He was interested in free hosting in exchange for web design.
