A friend of mine has no computer at home so he surfs and reads e-mail at the library. He now wonders if there are no services that provide a certain number of MB on their servers, so that he can store the attachments he receives without constantly having a full mailbox.
Anyone has an idea ?
PS : cd-roms and disks are not allowed in libraries
Unless he is not allowed to have a computer, the cost of such a service would wind up almost paying for a used, or low end machine (for surfing and email), so he should weigh the cost/benefit of a "virtual HD"

Maybe he could just open a new free email account when he needs them and forward what he wants to save to his new account.

Yahoo Briefcase ? What is that ? I never heard of it ?
the library allows USB ports I think. He tried cd-rw first, but the library doesn't allow it because someone could take virusses in via their cd-rewritables... :(

Why don't he just get his email account quota boosted to more? Makes logical sense...
If he decides to go the USB hard drive route, can find some excellent deals at NewEgg (http://www.newegg.com).
