View Full Version : Co-location in CANADA?

Does anyone know where I can co-locate a server in Canada?

I live in the Toronto area and most web hosts charge an arm and a leg for co-location. In general, Canadian hosts are a major ripoff compared to their US counterparts.

However, there is something that appeals to me about being able to "visit" my server occasionally, rather than having to ship it 9 million miles away.

That's a good idea... I know they have a really good reputation.

I'm still trying to figure out if they will let me pay in CDN$$ though (I just sent them an e-mail).

Don't forget that you'll have to pay GST and maybe even PST.

YUK! I forgot about that... At least there's no PST in Alberta (home to tera-byte.com).

send an email to myhosting.com (dedicated@softcomca.com )... on their website, they just advertise dedicated servers, but hey, maybe they'll let you colocate, although it might be too expensive. but, they are connected to UUnet and some other host, pretty fast, at least from overseas, and based in Toronto.
