I am about to buy a billing script for $1,000 USD. However I am holding on because I heard the next version of CPANEL or DarkOrb or whatever it's called has AUTOMATED SIGNUP, BILLING and more. I heard the release date was MID/LATE AUGUST. So what's the deal, is it coming out in a few days/weeks or spend $1,000 on a 3rd party billing solution.

THANKS!

Honestly, is it worth it. Wait a month or spend 1000 dollars. I guess its really up to you. If it was me, I would wait.

I don't want to pay recurring fees for ubersmith! :( I want to buy out the script and own it.

I JUST GOT NEWS from one of their providers that DarkOrb/Nocsoft/CPANEL4, whatever it is is coming out near the end of September. Hmmm!

I think I'll wait I'll buy modern bill if it supports sfcommerce processing for now. :)

A couple of others to watch out for...

Jag, of jaguarpc is launching something soon, not that it goes with WHM I believe, but...

Jumpline is lauching something soon similar to Alabanza's offerings.

whbilling is a stand alone product that can be installed on a server, one time.

Can't think of any more now, but just a few others to consider in the present or near future.

I recommend Microsoft Money Delux & Business, and Quickbooks Pro.

VDI is also coming out with a new one that looks very promising!

What does very promising mean???? That could mean anything got any details cause i will tell you VDI looked very promising when i signed up for cpanel then after two months of getting blown off I moved to another cpanel company and they have fixed all the problems in two days. My opinion is that a great product with no support is way worse than a decent product with great support.

Just my 2 cents

Well, I'm not supposed to release any details about it yet..

I do believe (If I remember right..) it has a billing feature.
