My ip address was jacked and for the past 7 hours no one as hostany has replied to any of my tickets.

anyone have a voice number? pager number?

i can get into the server through my other ip's (have a subnet) but the main one is getting stuck on some border router. its gonna be a pain in the ass to convert 200+ dns entries to another ip if i have to do that..

Its not really that big a pain...just change to /var/named folder (or whatever on your server)

perl -pi -e 's|oldip|newip|g' *.*

If a CP is being used, the mysql db can also be updated with a mysql Update command. Been there done that :-)

turns out they were filtering out my ip.. they only told me 24 hours after being down..

i'd already changed all the dns and moved to the subnet that was working.

going to try and get my money back now as this was a freaking JOKE.

BTW, that perl works great, but i still had to update all the serial numbs and change the TTL to force propagation quickly.
