Can anyone help me? I need a dedicated server for around $100 per month. I would like to run linux or freebsd. I don't want some piece of s*** that is really slow, but I am not looking for the best in the world. I do not want any setup fees, unless maybe they are really cheap.

I would also really like to be able to pay with paypal.

Try ACSDatanet (http://www.acsdatanet.com). I signed up a couple of weeks ago and I'm really pleased. $50 a month ($150 setup fee), fast, and good service. A couple of problems in the beginning, but they were promptly ironed out. Part of the problem is I have no experience with servers. But, Clint has been great, and all in all I'm really happy.

I'll have more on this in a later post when I've had a chance to finish setting up everything and properly evaluate the results.
