I would like to know what are the pros and cons of a ded. pipe and using a burstable connection. Can anyone here tell me some of your experiences with that? Feel free to post.

Thanks. ;)

Dedicated: You pay for a set amount, ifyou use it you use it, if not its a loss, and if you have one heavy day your service may seem slow, but you wont have any overage :)

Burstable: Great for sites that have spikes and need to be fast 24/7, you could end up paying more then you want being there is no limit to your usuage(granted hardware etc..) from what I have seen you can get burstable for about the same price as dedicated these days.

It really depends on limitations:

Dedicated = Limited

Burstable = may still be limitated but usually offers room to grow

How about the differences in cost between them ? Which one is realtively more expensive in terms of per GB? Also, what's the reasonable bandwidth rate to pay for both of them? What is a good price for 1 T-1 connection and 450 GB of burstable connection?
