Hello,

I'm looking for a cheap webhost company, and I was wondering which webhost companies have the best reputation on this board. I know that Tera-byte has a good reputation but I already have 2 sites hosted with them.

Could you define "good" reputation?

Good reputation = no or very few complaints from users on this board

One host which doesn't seem to be mentioned much here is pair.com (why is that, anyway? With 100,000 sites hosted you'd think that they would have a greater visibility). While I have no personal experience with them I know a number of people who have and they have had no complaints.

I have experience with both, and they are both exceptional. The redesign at FQ leaves a bit to be desired, though.

I am hosted by them (http://www.gitaarwerk.net) and they offer me great services.. I speak to them live often!.. the support is very klind!.. and the performance of the service is ebven better :D

I am very pleased with my hosting!.. The server went as long as I've been hosting with them (half a year) 1 hour down (to aswith some things)

Funny thing about Pair is they aren't really that bad, I thought they would be but they have a decent support section and several hour turn around. A little slow, but from the people I know they are pretty decent.

Our recent review and test account bore this out and we gave them our highest level of recommendation.

I'm sure though, with the number of customers they have, that there are disgruntled Pair customers out there. We just haven't seen any.

WHT, seemingly being one of the disgruntled hosting customers common places to vent, hasn't seen any of theirs that I can recall. I'm not entirely sure who has 'the best reputation' on the board however.

Side note: Hosts, please note that per the guidelines, we ask that you only recommend hosts in which you've had direct experiences with (used their services). Ahem.

After their last couple of offers I'm not sure if I would say that. There have been quite a few complaints about them of late.
