OK.. Does anyone know where I can get a list of all the Web Hosting List sites? I know of a few but there seems to be dozens.. Does anyone really try and get listed in all of them?

/me puts his hand up.

I make an effort to make sure that I post my listing at these sites. Every so often I will make sure everything is still current. While time consuming, it is free targetted advertising. Can't go wrong.

Basically, I will go to a couple of these sites each to update the listings, etc... Takes about 10-20 minutes...

...if you can remember all the darn usernames and passwords they give you. Some log you in as a username, some as an email, others as your company name. To further complicate things, some give you a password which you are unable to change (or at least I couldn't find the Change Your Password button).

Maybe it's just me... :)

I know what you mean - me and other host dir owners I know are having a hard time designing the perfect system for you hosts..

Anyways, there are companies and individuals who list you in directories and resources, and do updates for a reasonable fee, just ask around the board and I'm sure you'll get a good response..
