I setup my new server 4 days ago and created 2 nameservers (with two IPs) about 60 hours ago - now when I try and point my domain over to these nameservers from enom, i get an error message saying that the nameservers cannot be registered. What is the reason for this? Have I not setup the nameservers correctly or have they still not propogated properly?

Have you registered your nameservers with Enom?

Well, I just logged in to my enom reseller account and just modified the nameserver setting for the actual domain name - as I do with other domain names for other nameservers.

If you have created 2 new nameservers then you must register those nameservers with whoever is the nameservers domain registrar.
So, If you have setup ns1.mynameserver.com and ns2.mynameserver.com and Enom is the registrar for mynameserver.com then you must login to Enom and find the Register Nameserver link and add those nameservers and their IPs in there. That will then make them official nameserves and Enom will allow you to then make them nameservers for any domain names.
