Every person I've asked has said webhosting is incredibly profitable. Is anyone making that much to afford Ferrari's, big mansions etc or are you all living on the edge, paying bills, enough to survive? :P

The edge is UP from where I'm laying.

No, it didn't last for a Ferrari.
Only for a humble Coupe Fiat Turbo with 220 PS :)

Not there yet. But don't discourage. It is totally possible, it just happens that nobody must like Ferrari as much as you and I.

I'm getting mine for christmas.

This should explain the hosting/Ferrari situation:

Or maybe not.

Ferrari is for boys.
Hummer is for men.

kind of an offtopic question, but how much does a hummer cost?

around $75Gs for the 4dr.version and $85Gs for the wagon type.

add a killer sound system to it and it's a 100G truck :)

In theory, webhosting can be very profitable. The numbers have already been mentioned in these pages.

However in practice, this is extremely difficult as building up the business can be very tiring and time consuming process.

The lack of standardisation (Is the $20 plan of company A better than the $20 plan of company B or vice-versa ?. ) and price wars lead to many companies failing within 6 months of operation. Many carry on based on income from other businesses.

Some manage to make profits but lose customers simply because they chose to select service providers on pricing alone.

After a year and half in the business, I now have a couple 'Ferraris' ... only they are made in Thailand and not in Modena, Italy. ;)

Cheers,

Matra

I wouldn't say that. There are quite a few other webhosting companies that can easily afford it ...

do the exhaust system first, catback w/ freeflow cats and a hi-flow K&N and then do the headers together with the supercharger, 18-20psi :)

Sorry OT I know its not about a ferrari ;)
yeah cool thing for tacos is using a amsoil filter
and cut out hte airbox and use a 4" deckplate in replace gets better performance than a KN setup ;) but the TRD supercharger is pretty sweet with catback and headers (both SS cause of the rust here)
puttin sliders on it etc...

most likely doing a 6" - 8"
running a 6" with 2" on swayaways with shackles and new leafs in rear then running 33x12.5 on 3.75 offset wheels
trucks are a big thing here in Maui to
a lot of jacked up trucks ;) most people that coem to Maui or Hawaii get amazed at how many jacked trucks there are ;)

want to get a Ducati 996 or a 929 or a YZFR1 pretty much in that order
