VALinux Servers

50GB Transfer
Cpanel

Or alternate problem... "wrong servers arrived":crap:
I've noticed that when you go to http://www.pwebtech.com and try to order or configure a dedicated server that the "order" and "custimize" links have been turned off (try http://www.pwebtech.com/sparc.html for instance). Not taking orders is a handy way to lessen one's workload.....
I have nothing against pwebtech.com at all, as a matter of fact I was going to latch onto them if they offered another plan as sweet as the first offer (or even close).
I did not agree with the people complaining that it was taking too long, (however if someone HAD to have a server to service their customers, pwebtech shold have released them from their contracts after 2 weeks, plenty of other people would have gladly taken the contract over).
The only problem I see is pwebtech started ignoring posts from people asking what was going on. Now I don't get notified properly everytime someone posts to a thread I am subscribed to, but if you make an offer on these boards I feel it would behoove you to revisit and answer all questions and concerns.
(Readers can find the previous offer and concerns elsewhere on these boards.)
Just tell the truth.
"My primary IT called from the Bahamas and said he was taking the month off."
"I plugged the rack into the 3 Phase 220 volt line and fried them all."
"I ordered used servers and they were trash when they arrived."
"The provider said they were shipped Next Day Air, but they still haven't arrived."
"I'm having personal problems and there will be a delay of about 2 weeks."
Hey, "life" happens. I would rather hear an "I don't know" than a BS answer, and I would rather hear anything instead of silence to complaints.
I was highly impressed with Kiwi when he said in a thread, "I can't do anything about your IP's, it is NetSol's problem", then 2 posts later he came back and said, "I'm sorry, we had the server configured incorrectly, you are up and running now."
I have been a computer tech since 1975, and the only thing absolutely certain about electronics is that they will absolutely fail at some point. (Kinda like people, eh?).
Just tell people what is happening. You will get more sympathy than complaints from people. And those that complain after you tell them the truth, are probably not customers you would want around to deal with anyway. Just let them out of their contracts and let them go.
There is not a single business person that has not fouled up some business transaction at some time in their career.
"If you never strike out, you have never been at bat", but when you do strike out you can't pretend it's not on your stats.
Best wishes for you in the fiture,

(Still looking for a good dedicated server deal..)

It has been like that for as long as I can remember. Possibly forever.

About our website, we finally got the fonts from the developers to finish our extentions and should be up shortly.
In regards to the this offer, if you look it, it is pretty cheap. These are the VALinux servers, that were sold as they were going out of biz. So that is why they are cheap. My email is sudo down right now as my machine is being reinstalled.
