View Full Version : Creating new skins for CPanel

I am going to set up a reseller account soon and therefore I am also quite interested in creating new skins for CPanel.

New icons, new layout and new graphics... is this possible or is the code compiled and brand new layouts can't be achieved without direct access to it? (i.e. are new skins just a case of replacing image files or are config files and layout files also involved?).

Also... does anyone have a link to a downloadable standard theme I can use to start editing and playing around with?

thanks in advance...

please make a backup first

ssh to your server and fo to the frontend directory , the path is /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/ , you will see the skins names as folders , just enter any one of them and you will see html files which you can edit ..

I don't know if there is another or better way but I'm actually using this way .

I have done a few of them.
If you email me, I will send you a full template zipped in trade for a copy of the new skin you make???

aquavelvaman, would you want a copy of my skin just for personal use, or for reselling?

I would on our servers. Not sell it.
