jonmck1234 09-02-2003, 09:58 PM HI! We are VERY interested in getting a server admin/tech support person. We have several servers and they are needing security checks/updates, kernel upgrades, etc.
Nothing much....and also some tech support if needed.
Please send your hours that you can work for tech support.....and also if we can contact you in emergencies, etc.
MUST speak fluent English.

jonmck1234 09-03-2003, 05:51 PM Hi! All servers are Dell PowerEdge servers and are running either Redhat 7.3, 8.0, and 9.0.
We will need someone to not only do some server security updates, kernel upgrades, tuning the server to run better, etc.....but will also need someone to be available 24/7 for server downtimes/emergencies.
You should have a monitoring system for port monitoring 24/7.
Also, you would need to be able to answer emails from about 1:00AM CST until about 7:00AM CST.
