Just got this email from Instabill, looks like things havent gone so well for them!

Due to unavoidable circumstances Instabill.com/zStar Network Inc. will no longer be able to provide its billing services.

Please make alternative credit card processing arrangements as Instabill.com/zStar Network Inc. will cease its services from August 20, 2001.

We regret the inconvenience caused but ensure that all dues will be paid according to the payment and hold back schedules.

Our support service will be available to make sure that all your questions are answered as soon as possible.

Please note again that your payments will be made on time as per previous schedule.

My boss got the same email from Instabill... And to think that blasted billing company still owes us 2 months worth!

They have not sent us our clients' payments from June and July and then they dropped this???

I would've kept quiet but this is really too much!


Are there any other alternatives? I would go with paysystems but then, don't they own instabill too?

They've never paid us on time, and our cheques are like 2 months delayed... Hello???

When my officemate asked them repeatedly about it they said that they've already sent our check on June 3. Then the next customer support person said our checks were sent on June 5. Then finally after a month of waiting, we sent email again and then instabill said they have made a mistake and missed sending our check, so they sent it again this August...

Does anyone know what is the relationship between Revecom/PaySystems and Instabill?

I am in the process of setting up payments for my reseller site with Revecom and this thing with Instabill makes me wonder if it isn't maybe better to just get a merchant account instead.

Your boss should have been emailing them daily and even calling them.

The first month and a half we had an issue, got on their backs, adn they next day aired us payment and then never missed a beat with us.

We were fairly impressed with Instabill other than the occasional down time they had.

But thats just the experince we had

10% was way too high for transactions anyway...

well, i guess it wasn't high enough for them to have kept afloat tho

10% isn't that high, on small transactions ;)

Well, if Revecom is Paysystems and Instabill was Zstar Network the whois on Paysystems should be interesting.
