View Full Version : Will WLS result in higher domain value? YES!

I feel WLS should increase resale values significantly as instead of the current insane drop game, buyers will contact the owners direct, increasing values and resulting in many sales. Do you agree?

Why let NW and Pool get all that money - when the owners can get it? This is one reason I always supported WLS strongly.

A tip I can give is that if you worry about someone taking out a WLS on your name (and do not want to spend the money yourself on a wls), simply renew it for 10-yrs., that should stop them from grabbing the slot.

On a side note, I am leaving the forums for 4-mos or so, until years-end (will not even read posts - too much time spent here!). That's because I need lots of time and energy to devote to more development of my domains and improvements to my many partially developed ones.

Thanks everyone for all your knowledge and friendship, and to the sellers for good deals on names purchased at the forums. When I return it will be interesting to see how everything worked-out, including WLS, and I am sure I will be back in the market as a buyer at that time, hopefully with more money too.

You may have a point with WLS, but anything that Verisign/NotworkingSolutions gets involved with usually doesn't have positive fallout to the regular domain owners. I think it will be a good thing for the likes of Ultimate Search and BuyDomains. They have probably already reserved most of the good names, while us regular guys are still checking it out and looking for our credit cards

BTW... good luck with your development focus, RealNames. WHT does take a lot of time, but then this is a fast changing industry. If you don't keep up with what is going on, at the end of four months, you may find your venture is obsolete!

Good Luck!

:D -- I could do that... I could step away from WHT. I can quit anytime I want to. Nope, I'm not addicted. In fact, that's what I'll do, starting right now, I'll quit for a month just to prove I can. Yep, that's what I'm going to do... Hmmmm, maybe I'll read one more thread. Oh, this is interesting... Okay, I'll think about quiting tomorrow. -- :D
