Question regarding installing the Cpanel license. I can find an endless supply of information on where to buy a cpanel license and the fact that you need one to run cpanel/WHM but I can't find any information/docs about how to install the license.

- How do you install the cpanel license?

- Is it a file? A key that's e-mailed to you? Are you prompted to enter the license key or install the file on your server after you have installed cpanel?

I haven't installed Cpanel from scratch myself as I'm sure this would answer my question... :-)

Once your license provider submits your ip to the license server you just wait for it to sync up. Your server's ip address is the key.

If you want to instant sync your license just run this command:

/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
