I am just wanting to know what is the normal amount of signups people are doing in a days time. I have a reseller who is signing up more then 5 customers alone I think this is a strange high number.

I'd like to know as well - I am in the process of starting a hosting company.

All this must depend on the amount of marketing is taking place.

Also, people might be reluctant to helps us out since I'd expect conversion rates to be pretty top secret !

Hopefully, somebody will help us out ...

The other side of that equation is the level of churn rate you should expect. E.g You sign-up 10 a day and loose 9 by the end of the next day.......

The cost of keeping a customer is far lower than that of getting a new one.

Well on my site xism.net

I get avg 20 sign ups for the first week, now I average 20-20 sign ups a day. But its free hosting :D

Since only part of a person signs up do they get a discount equal to the amount of the body that did not sign up? If your sign up is 20-20 per days you get 20 every day (I am thinking that the second number was to be different). :smokin:
