They seem too good to be true at that price... quixer 09-06-2000, 04:59 PM Hey Everyone, I've been using UltraSpeed for about a month now, and let me tell you, their service is magnificent! I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the server which has 0 downtime, and the prices are the best I've ever seen. But besides all of this, there is one thing that makes UltraSpeed stand out, it's their online support. The guy who runs UltraSpeed is ALWAYS online on ICQ (7021831). Every time I've asked him a question or had trouble, there was instant response. For example, I was trying to set up the message board on my homepage (www.quixer.com), but was frustrated after 4 hours trying it. I messaged UltraSpeed, and he said he would check it out... within 10 minutes he had the complete message board set up. Not only knowledgeable, but kind and always responsive, I'd have to say that UltraSpeed has the best technical support I have ever seen before. Not only should you join UltraSpeed, you should tell all your friends to switch to them as well. If you want to contact me, it's josh@quixer.com. Seeya, Josh jigg 09-06-2000, 05:06 PM I am a customer of UltraSpeedUSA.com and have been such for about a month. Everything you see on their hosting plans is for real + you get great, knowledgable & fast tech support. My previous web host, took 4 days to answer me and usually gave me the wrong answer. Not with Ultraspeed. Their Control panel is great and it gives me total control of my domain(s). I m with the Corporate plan and all the features it includes are plenty enough. And NO setup fees. I scorched the web (2months) looking for web hosting company for my site, the ones I ran accross were either too slow at answering me, if I even got an answer at all or charging too much for too little, and no control panels. And the last host, from which I switched to Ultraspeed, their 30 Day money back guarantee I suppose didnt apply to me cause I still haven't seen the refund in my bank account. If you are looking for great deal, super tech support, and great speed, go with UltraspeedUSA.com. I definitely recommend them. They are very good! BC 09-06-2000, 07:22 PM UltraSpeed is recommended. Their rep, Daniel Pearson, does appear around here on occasions so you can always bug him if you have any particular questions ;) AtlantaWebhost.com 09-06-2000, 08:14 PM I have had the pleasure to speak with Mr. Pearson, the UltraSpeed US rep, on several occasions. He seams to know what he is doing and has a sense of humor. Overall, he is a delightful man to speak with. However, I must admit that I have not experience with the company's services. Best regards, Frank Rietta Chicken 09-06-2000, 08:16 PM I often chat with daniel and he is always kind and has helped me when he could with questions I have. I do not have an account hosted with him, but would recommend him on a personal level. Martie 09-06-2000, 09:03 PM Because we are friendly competitors :wavey: Ive never used his service BUT from seeing him on the boards he proves to be an asset and appears to be very professional and courteous and responsible with his company. CFoxHost 09-06-2000, 09:49 PM While I have not used his services, I have also talked to Daniel many times. I have found him to have a sense of humor, be knowledgeable, and honest. I would certainly recommend him! MikeA 09-06-2000, 11:29 PM We actually get our dedicated servers with him (if we don't sell an Alabanza one) and he is great. Good service, up to the wee hours of the morning. We haven't had any major problems with the servers we have with them, but the small ones we have had has been resolved very quickly. I would recommend them. PS: Martie, where in the heck are you getting those cute little icons? Smilies are on... etc. line just above the breadcrumb links showing the level of the forum you're at. (edit) Oops, I see Martie's just posted the link. I'll just leave this here anyway.(/edit) Learner 09-07-2000, 07:55 AM MikeA, You can access the smiles page... http://www.webhostlink.com/index.php?action=showsmilies from many places in the vB forum. For example, when you are posting a reply you will see this message on the top of the page which is a hyperlink to the "smilies page": Forum Rules: Who Can Read The Forum? Any registered user or guest. Who Can Post New Topics? Any registered user or guest. Who Can Post Replies? Any registered user or guest. Changes: Messages can be edited by their author. Messages can be deleted by their author. Posts: HTML code is OFF. Smilies are ON. vB code is ON. [IMG] code is OFF. You could also see this same message at the bottom of all the thread pages. Then, as Martie said, you can access the same smilies page on the FAQ page of this forum as well. :smash: :p :kaioken: :karate:   :bawling: :homer:  ...these cute guys are accessible just about everywhere! Learner MikeA 09-07-2000, 08:52 AM WOW, Before there were only a few of them. kunal 09-07-2000, 10:03 AM Well.. Daniel.. He is a awesome guy.. We keep kidding around on ICQ.. I dun host with them as yet, not got enough money :) but he is always there to help me. Andrew Chen 09-07-2000, 10:39 AM Daniel is a great guy. He's been helping me alot. I'm thinking of getting a dedicated server with them when I can afford one. :) Good luck! Learner 09-07-2000, 10:51 AM It's always nice to hear such good things said about a web hosting company in this forum for a change... because I got really sick and tired of hearing all the false ******** being posted about Annette in these forums. Cheers for UltraSpeed and Daniel Pearson! From what is being posted here, he sure deserves this praise! Though I have not had a reason to ICQ with him yet, it looks like he is always there to bail us newbies out with techie-stuff... just like all the Web Hosting Gods and Gurus regularly do in this forum. :) Learner DanielP 09-07-2000, 01:47 PM Ummm Well, gosh umm i'm not quite sure what to say umm wow. I just do what I love :) Thanks a lot guys this is just something I enjoy doing, and its the only thing I would ever be happy doing :) Thanks again! :) -Edward- 09-07-2000, 03:03 PM How come webhosts use everything bar yahoo instant messanger?. They all use icq , aim, human click etc etc. I know for a fact yahoo has more users than aim. When i hosted i providied support via yahoo got a bit annoying lol the amount of messages i got. |
