Ok, I'm looking @ raq's still, but here is how much it would be:

And that's a 450MHZ server.
Anyone know something cheaper/year....
I really need around 200-300GB bandwith/mo. 300 really makes me feel safe, I know i'll need at least 200GB.
I'll be using MySQL so, the RAQ may not be the best server for my needs.

Bandwith is the main thing, a fast server would be nice-But it looks like rackshack is as cheap as they come.

why don't you try rackshake.net they are giving very hot offers these days. also go through dedicated and general hosting forms and you will find host threads about them. the ceo is now on board and that is great. ;) :)

I've checked rachshack, but that slow processor and low RAM doesn't seem too good.

Well if you need 200gb of bandwidth a month (now) and are using mysql, I wouldnt suggest a raq. I usually try and figure in growth also over the next several months/year or whatever. And if you have a decent Pentium P3 server with lots of room to grow on ram ect.., all you have to do is upgade the server, with a raq, If you expect more traffic growth you have nowhere to go with it other than finding another server with better hardware.

What's your budget Makaveli ? How much are you willing to spend for the server together with 1 Mbps ?

I really don't have much money to spend. I'm thinking of taking off all my artwork since that's where all the bandwith is used. The forum uses less BW than my gallery.
I'm looking for something cheaper than 1670/year....
