Hello,

I am looking for a payment processing company like 2checkout.com with similar features (complete transaction processing and delivering payment to my bank account via wire transfer) but a little less expensive.

I cant have a merchant account as my country wont allow  so I am looking for complete solution like 2checkout.com and paysystems.com :)

Do you people know any solution which wont charge so much.

Thanks.

There are also ibill.com , ccbill.com (not sure about them)

ibill and ccbill are mostly adult processors, for the most part.

You have to have a merchant account to use Authorize.net, they are not a payment processor, they are only a gateway provider.

They never actually touch your money, they simply take your customers' information and transmit it to Visa/MC or whomever, obtain an authorization number and report this back to your processor, who then charges the card and gives you your money.

You could also look into Verisign payments, but they are pretty expensive I have heard.

I just signed up with paysystems myself.

Oh yeah.

And when you sign up for PaySystems, be sure to remember that every penny you give them in fees helps support internet spam.

PaySystems sends spam to clients of other billing processors.

I have recived it and so have several other people here (so you know it didnt just happen in my head, since everyone seems to think I am a nut after the way I treated the Nectar/Compady thing) - or at least they have posted to indicate such a thing.

kkimmel - I don't know about this Nectar/Compady thing adn don't have the time to search for it. All I can say about this is that b4 deciding with who to go (4-5 months ago) I did a long research - I've kept an eye for years on 2checkout, paysystems (revecom), worldpay etc etc and decided to go with paysystems. Never have received or heard of anyone receiving spam from paysystems and have been quite happy with them in these 5 months.

I'm not saying that what you are saying is not true but hasn't happened to me, what has happened to me is shortly above.

Hello,

I am sorry because what I am asking might be a childish question for you experts out there, I am new to website stuff so am confused and want to ask you, please forgive this question. I have asked paysystem support about it but dont have time to reply to my query.

In there "Type A Discount Rate and Per Transaction Fee".
Please can any of you tell me, what is meant by "discount rate", at 2checkout.com they mention that they cut 5.5% of transaction plus 0.45$. In this case, does discount rate means the percentage they will cut for each transaction plus $1.00?

Am I right?

Thanks

Yes that's correct. From memory I think it's 3.5% + $1.00 (we signed up with them over three years ago and I've never checked the percentage since so I might be wrong now). :)

While that rate can add up to quite a bit, I think they're general stability and service is worth the cost.
