I've had sushi. I didn't hate it, but I didn't really care for it that much either.

The worst part was "Did you know those are fish eggs on that?"
that part sort of freaked me out since the day before this I had posted an article about how a boy had beatle eggs hatch in his stomach.

Cooked seafood is bad enough; no way in hell I'm eating it raw.

Love sushi. :D In fact, there's a new sushi bar near the post office where I live. It takes a great deal of self control to be able to walk past it each time I go to deal with mail.

Not a cheapest lunch around, but worth every penny.

Mmmmm....sushi? Yes please, and lot's of it. Thank you.

Fish roe (eggs) / caviar = my favourite :D

I love going to Japanese restaurants that have buffets a.k.a freeflow of Sushi and assorted Jap desserts.

Okay, time for me to stop salivating. :)

Sushi is like anything else, if is prepared well it is great, if it prepared poorly or if fresh ingredients are not use is sucks.

Phrozen, sushi or zushi refers to the rice, not the fish. You can have sushi without fish, or with cooked fish or meat.
Sashimi is raw fish.

Running sushi resturants are great. But, I'll take some avacado maki over anything anyday.

And some of you are right, I eat and eat those things and never get full.

Love it too. became to expensive to carry on going out to restaurants to eat it so I learned how make it myself
Saved a hell of a lot money on restaurants after that.

I've tried it once.

Is the rice supposed to be really sour or did I just happen to be in a bad place?

Most probably, you just happen to be in a bad place.

Sour rice means that it is old. The best suggestion I could give you is to throw it at the server.

It doesn't have to be old rice. They probably just used too much rice vinegar.

I've never had sushi in my life, what does sushi actually 'contain' as such? I don't like eggs and I don't like fish, so is sushi for me? lol.

It's a variety of different stuff actually.
There's chicken and other ingredients as well. Not neccesarily fish and eggs. :D

If you are a picky eater, sushi is probably not for you. Basically what it is, is sticky rice wrapped in Nori (seaweed) filled with various ingredients, often vegetables and raw or cooked fish.

sushi with a side of wasabi is real yum. Sushi does not have to include fish. It can have chicken, beef or some vegetables
