What is the best credit card payment system that I can get for my web hosting company that is free or a very small cost?

I would prefer if I do not need to get a SSL certificate unless it is free.

I would be charging them monthly and/or yearly.

Any input??

Get a free SSL cert. from freessl.com and look at

instabill.com
paypal.com
revecom.com
2checkout.com

but beware of instabill they have the worst rep. of all and I too have have a nightmare experience with them. I suggest that you get your own merchant account instead of a free one.

if you are in the US then use
propay.com (its free)

otherwise check out
sfcommerce.com ( International merchants accepted)

I am using sfcommerce

Well I have looked at worldpay.com and some others and I do not know what to put for the fields of international bank id and some other crazy things.

Arrty I really like sfcommerce they look really nice:):)

If someone could contact me on aol at SSJ4Gogeta518 or on icq at 126929515. I would like to have some help in obtaining an internet merchant account. They seem to be the way to go.

Thx,
Dbzgod

Revecom is the best if you don't have a established corporation... i tried to go with charge.com and they require a corporation :(

so I happen to go to kyo's website - and when you go to signup your redirected to a site at secure< edit by me so I don't advertise for him>.2y.net. 2y.net is one of the domains that dhs.org offers for the DynDNS and StaticDNS services - nothing against kyo - it just seems a little fishy not to use something like secure.<his domain>.com.

My ssl site is hosted on a different server. Until i get a proper domain for my secured pages ill have to use DHS. And nothing is fishy you're only jumping to conclusions! Exactly WHAT do you find fishy?? Tell me? I have purposedly not used secure.mydomain.com BECAUSE they're on different servers! SO is that reason enough for you?

Verza and Verotel don't accept Web Hosting or Web Design companies anymore.

Here's part of the welcome letter I got from them a couple days ago:

** PLEASE NOTE! - Verotel processing is only available for the sale of CONTENT (access to a protected area of your website).Verotel processing is not available for the sale of SERVICES (such as advertising/search engine submission, marketing programs, anything sent by e-mail, design, web hosting, etc...).

verza doesnt allow people from Pakistan and other countries!! What bias. Same goes for vertol. Thats why they suck.

I recommend 2checkout, revecom and sfcommerce.

If I am not mistaken, sfcommerce has a setup fee of $299 , 2.75% discount rate and $0.25 per transaction.

woah there killer, calm down - did you see I said "nothing against ^kyo." :) Mainly the reason I find this fishy is because it would be easy (if you were a fraud - I'm sure your not.. but IF) and it came out that you were, it would be quite easy to just go register a new dhs name - change part of the page around and go about being a fraud) **note I'm not calling you a fraud, simply using this as an example to explain myself **

Anyway - I don't think that having a subdomain doesn't automatically means it points to the same machine as the main domain. Many people (myself included) will point ftp.domain.com to one machine and www.domain.com to another machine.

Again.. not calling names - not flaming - not calling anyone a fraud - If things look as good as they are on the page - I may just become one of your customers!

it is common to point name.domain.com to a differnt machine. it is all done w/ dns

but why not just put it all on one machine for the ssl?
