We just recently got a RaQ4 at RackShack. I would like to add several subdomains which seems straightforward enough except for the fact that I need to specify the document path for each subdomain. Previously, I did this by changing the DocumentRoot directive in http.conf. It seems like there should be an option in the Site Management control panel that specifies the document path. However, I don't see one.

I have administrative access to the server, whereas http.conf is owned by the root and the permissions are set such that only root has write privileges. How can I get around this? I need to make other changes to http.conf.

Thanks in advance.

You are correct, there isn't a place to specify this. Also, some modifications are overwritten by the cp once you make a change via the cp. Watch for this.

Search for 'DNS includes' if you don't want to set up a subdomain through the server as a full site.
