Hi,

I am trying to register nameservers for a domain. I have the IP's and I completed the forms at networksolutions (including the contact form) but I am receiving a message like this:

"We have received your request to register or modify a host record.
However, we are unable to process it at this time because we cannot
verify its authenticity.

We have sent an e-mail notification message to Guardians for this
host and the domain name where the host resides, asking for their
approval or disapproval of the change you have asked for. We will
follow the first set of instructions we receive.

If you are the host coordinator for this host record, or are the
administrative or technical contact for the domain name where the
host resides, perhaps your authorization information is not current.
Please update your authorization information by completing and
submitting a Contact Form. The Contact Form is available on our
Web site at
http://www.networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/makechanges/itts/handle."

Can you tell me why ?

1. The information submitted is identical with the technical contact so...

Thanks alot.

I'm guessing the domain is not registered with NetSol. Although you should get an email at the admin address for the domain, I don't think I did when I tried to register or modify a nameserver there, or if I did, I returned it and got some other error email back. Far as I remember, I tried calling and either that worked or I gave up :(

If Chicken is correct, what registrar did you use for that domain?

When I got nameservers for our account, I created the entries through a link inside dotster(my registrar of choice).

It could be a few things:

-It might be that you used another registrar (vs NetworkSolutions) like other folks have suggested.
-If it is NetworkSolutions, did you send the email from the admin or technical contact's email address? (It's required)
-Did you maybe choose a different authorization method (password or PGP) and forget to include that information in your host creation?
-If all else fails, give NetworkSolutions a call. Incredibly enough, I've had really good luck with their support staff each time I've called.

In fact I registered the domain with telaserv.net, which is (I suppose) a reseller of enom.

Can I do this through the domain control panel ?

Should I contact the company I have registered the domain with ?

Thanks for the information provided until now.
