Why wont the forum let me post replies to any of the threads in this forum? I can post new threads, but it simply times out when I hit "submit" to post a new reply.

The WHT database is going wacko. Just look at the amount of users online...

Also, you may be replying to "broken" threads. Report the thread as being broken and the mods will fix it.

You just posted a reply here (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=1414526#post1414526), not more than 6 minutes ago.

Best to email the mods if you're having troubles . . . :)

I'm having the same problem replying to THIS (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=179565) thread. No problem with others.

That is one of the "broken" threads. Report it and the mods will fix it.

Well, I'll be damned. Damn forum software makes an ass out of me.

Must be something to do with a load issue.

The threads get broken due to faulty email addresses, the subscription list has to be cleared by the moderator to fix,.

Ah, that's the cause of the broken threads. I wondered how a thread just somehow broke.

How do I report them? Just use the "Report this post to amoderator" thing?

Do not use "quick reply" to reply to a broken thread.

Use "reply" or "quote"

Always works for me. Hope it works for you too :D

You might want to report them again then.

We had quite a few when the forum was wacked. Some likely got missed.

All I could do was post new and edit an existing post. No quick reply, no reply and no quote.
