Need more than 2 nameservers but have only got 2 IP's. Host Europe wont let me have any more IP's. I've tried setting up 2 different name servers using the same IP but it doesn't work. I'm prepared to pay to get more name servers, is there a company that offers IP's redirected to other IP's so that you can have more name servers? It's quite urgent, I don't mind how it's done but I need to be able to set my reseller customers accounts up so that when you do a whois search it doesn't come up with our domain name but theres... . I've also tried reverse IP's but it still didn't work.

Unclear on your intentions here.

Do you have one raq that currently has two name server assignments?

Why aren't they giving you two additional IPs?

Far as I know, it *is* possible to use IPs assigned from somewhere else. I'm not entirely sure what is involved but it would have to be set up by your host and for the most part, it is *barely* an option.

What would be less hassle all around, is if your host would supply you with two additional IPs (something I realize you know) and I'm not certain why they wouldn't. Do they not have any to assign, are they refusing to grant your request?

They say that there aren't many left and that you have to have a good reason for them to give you one and that more name servers is not a good enough reason

Well I'll tell you my opinion... Dedicated IPs are required for nameservers and if they won't give you any more (even charge you for them?), then they just plain suck. Try not to make it *too* obvious, but ask them for two IPs for two secure certs. you need to set up, heh.
