As SWR keeps breaking the other thread >> http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=179530 feel free to continue in this new thread :)

Related Offers and Requests > Reviews - this seems like it'd be better off as a subforum of the website and graphic design forum. Just my opinion.

Agreed.

I would move reviews to the website and graphic design section, and also put a post count on it, so only people with say, 50 or more posts can create a new topic ?

:)

I noticed that users can post multiple threads per day and you can now bump a thread. Will these changes stay or will the 5 day rule and no bumping go back in place?

It should be at 7 days now.

So the anti-bumping was removed from the ad_fourm?

Ah, I was wondering about that. I responded to a pretty old one, as the requestor had more information to go on... Surprised to see it levitate to the top ;)

I would agree with McPhilly concerning the Reviews section. Not real sure what reviewing someone's website has to do with RO&R unless the objective is to turn it into a free-for-all advertising forum. Review your site and get offers to *fix* it for cash. It might make more sense to have it in the new Website and Graphics design section.

I'll be glad when this is fixed. The requests forum is becoming quite pathetic.

I've been killing threads in the Template and Domain forums in particular with regards to those bumping threads. Those are the two places where this is most prevailent. There's been a few in the hosting offers forum as well.

The requests forum has been a bit more difficult to monitor since they aren't sorted by original post date now, but it will be back to normal soon.

I think that all depends on how much ball bat flogging that WebDev can take from the rest of us before he does it.

Vegas odds put it 3-1 odds that he is flogged out within three days. If not, he'll probably be comatose and we could be screwed for a while. ;)

Translation: Not a clue when it will happen. :D
