I like ensim .. so far I loved it .. I haven't really try cpanel yet tho` but I heard is a good control panel. I wonder if you can install cpanel in a dialtone based server. Anyone know ?

Ensim good CPanel soso.. CPanel lots of **** with a lot **** that don't work. Ensim less **** with al of its **** working just like Plesk the next best thing if not better.. Only one to support freebsd. Put plesk on a FreeBSD server and runs for months no problems.. Heck maybe years.. :)
Aloha
well I sent in a email asking them and they sent back an email
even included a install script for me to use
got to admit there support is great ;)
Chad,
There shouldn't be.
Here is an install script for you.
1. su
2. cd <ColdFusion_installation_dir>/webserver/apache/src/
3. PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/plesk/apache/bin/
(in sh)
4. make
5. make install
6. /usr/local/plesk/plesk.sh stop
7. /usr/local/plesk/plesk.sh start
8. edit /usr/local/plesk/apache/conf/httpsd.conf.def to add
LoadModule coldfusion_module libexec/mod_coldfusion.so
AddModule mod_coldfusion.c
Let me know if you run into any trouble.
Best regards,

Just an FYI, I was told by a customer today that Ensim farms out their tech support to India. Not sure if that matters, but though I would pass it along.
They have had a hard time getting support.

I'm not surprise .. that's a common thing right now. A lot of company outsourcing their programmer to countries such as India, Thailand, etc.. Only because of cheaper labor cost.

Who cares if the support is good? We have had top notch support. We call, leave a call back, they call, we explain, they fix in minutes. Case closed. I could care less if they were farming support to Zaire, as long as they provide quality support.
I can also say that the techs they have are good here in the US. Ensim spent a lot of money building their product and the personal to run the business. This includes some sharp support guys. Feinberg and Simos stand out.

Who cares if the support is good? I have 2 customers that say it's not that great an they say it's because they do farm out their support.

Were they customers before they started doing this?
And as a side note, we have never received support from India. Maybe they do different things for ServerXchange vs. LS customers?

They us Ensim LS for Linux.
I am not sure when they started experiencing problems. I know it had something to do with a name server bug.
