you can name your servers around any theme really, cartoons, movies, books, etc.

Hence the company wehostyoursite.com (I just made it up, don't know if it actually exists) has the following servers:

pluto
mars
earth
jupitor

These would in turn be accessed by typing:

pluto.wehostyoursite.com
mars.wehostyoursite.com
earth.wehostyoursite.com
jupitor.wehostyoursite.com

No one actually visits those sites, they're simply identifiers for the servers.
