I need to connect to the Net when I am on the road. I already have a Nokia 6210 Handy and a provider who supports HSCSD for "high" speed.

So what devices should I use?
- A notebook is too big and expensive.
- I have thought about Psion, but they are expensive and Psion will no longer develop their product :(
- Any Palm like? Hm, something with a keyboard would be nice.

Hi,

I can vouch for Psion , I use a Revo Plus with my siemen S35. The connection is 9.6 , whereas I think the 'high speed' is 28.8 ?

On the Revo I use the excellant inbuild apps, like Word / Email etc . But the browser is abit poor, but Opera have a good Epoc version that I use.

FTP/ICQ/IRC apps etc are also avalible for it.

It really depends what you want to do on the move, but I write/reply emails and play with our user database online. The ICQ is mainly for contact with my techie :)

I chose the revo over the PalmVx due to the keyboard, and after playing with a mates palm I would say the Revo is more a mini PC and the palm is more an organiser.

It is a damn shame that psion have packed in making new systems as they were going to release a bluetooth revo....!

Cheers,
