Hi,

I want to expand my range of hosting options with my new site under development, i offer hosting packages but also want to offer dedicated servers, i want to basically sell your servers on my site where i do all sales/support etc, i just purchase direct from you at a cheaper % than you quote on your site.

I would orginally like to offer linux and raq4's.

As i am purchasing them from you and handle all support etc i would like to get a resonable % off the stated prices on your site and generally no seup fees, the servers will need to have true 99.9% uptime or there abouts and good support so i can contact you and get a response that hour rather than the following day if a problem did arise.

I want to be able to purchase them from you at resonable prices then i can upp the price and sell them on for a price i determin.

Please email info@amityhosting.com if you offer any thing like this or are willing to give it a try, im not going to sell 100's pf servers, maybe only 4 or 5 in the first month or so but who knows.

well basically you want to do is reselling. I'm not sure offhand which hosts offer dedicated reselling but i belive there are a few.

if you search for "dedicated" in the "Reselling Web Hosting" forum i'm sure you'll find a few discussions on this

BurstNet resells ded servers. But since Nick is the only one who works on cpanel problems youll have more than a 1 hour wait if cpanel screws up...

My CPanel expired today and noone can help me. They all tell me I have to wait on Nick...

If your cpanel has expired run:

killall -9 cpaneld
/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
/usr/local/cpanel/cpaneld

If it does not give error after 2nd command, the license should be working again.
If it does give error, then contact us to make sure license is in the license system.
If it is not, the problem is probably our fault...this usua;l;y is not the case with Cpanel license expirations...
If it is, then the problem is with the DarkOrb license server, and it MUST wait for Nick to correct...and he is only one person :-(

NOCSoft WILL have a new licensing system, cause this one gives many headaches.

Well someone is logged in as root from 127.0.0.1.9*** so I dont want to try this if they are doing something.

domain.com/cpanel now gives this thought..

Connection refused - server is too busy or is unable to accept connection

Any final dates on NOCSoft?

A little off the main topic, but I've noticed 90% of the time the cpanel lisc expired the date is wrong on the server

rdate -s rdate.darkorb.net may fix it

Actually the date on rdate.darkorb.net is inaccurate. They must be using a lame NTP server. Your server's clock is probably all right. If they fix the clock on rdate.darkorb.net then there will be a whole lot less expired licenses.
