well, according to the allertra stats from their hosting assured page they sure as hell don't live up to the 99.99% Uptime garuntee.

Other than that, never heard much of them.

Just a reply to the %99.99 uptime.

Yes we do run a %99.99 uptime - the particular ns record that hosting assured has been monitoring using alertra is no longer a client server. We must change that in our account.

Another point is hosting assured uses alertra on a per hour basis, meaning they check the server stats every hour, not every minute. So for instance if a server was unreachable for 1 minute during the time in which alertra checks the server, it will show as 1 hour of downtime rather than 1 minute. On the same token if a server goes down while alertra is not checking, however it suddenly pops up when alertra does it's check, that downtime was not recorded. You can say that the alertra stats on hosting assured and findmyhosting are very unreliable.
