Please could some one mail me at richard@haisoft.net to try and help me. I've installed mysql on cobalt raq4 server. Have also installed phpmyadmin, It works when I connect up as root. I then create users with their own passwords using phpmyadmin in users and priviliges section, have I got to create them some where elso too because when I logout ant try to reconnect with username and password, it doesn't work.
Am I ment to add each user on mysql first, if so how?

Also, visit http://www.mysql.com for documentation on how to setup users via telnet. This, in my opinion, is much easier.
