clickngo 08-10-2001, 03:02 AM No come on!
you say cheesy. You know darn well cheesy is like a FrontPage Theme which is kinda what your home page looks. Nothing personal but lets not call the kettle black here.
Hugs and Kisses to you and everyone else. Everyone has an opinion.
Dollac 08-10-2001, 11:10 AM Ok, let me get this straight,
(a) Clickngo advertises his site and it's design templates for what I assume is an attempt to increase business by having people look at them.
(b) Cbaker17 responds to the ad simple stating that (s)he thinks the site is cheesy and basically does not care for it and/or the designs (correct me if I am wrong on this one Cbaker17).
(c) Clickngo responds by say that the templates/site is not chessy, person defending the site they create, understandable. But wait what it this Clickngo defends the site by directly attacking the other persons site.
(d) Dollac (that is me) decides that regardless of Clickngo's site and service may be to take his business (if he actual was looking for some designs) elsewhere due to the unprofessional response from Clickngo.
That is what I think. :smokin:
cactus 08-11-2001, 10:29 AM If you don't want to pay for web designing, there are almost 170 free templates design at:
http://www.freesitetemplates.com/
You can download it and do some modification to suit your needs.
clickngo 08-13-2001, 12:39 AM Hi folks!
All those remarks and responses make me feel all warm and toasty.
You can download templates from a number of places online for free. We all know that!
What you failed to see in our product is that you get to edit right online and publish to your web address. Not to mention, our sites blow all those other away you created a link to. Have a look for yourself...
Ya see, our site is designed for people who don't know how to download templates and edit them on their own. How about this?
What about the guy or gal who dosen't know how to use photoshop which is most of the people trying to create their own web site.
Lot's of hugs and kisses to ya'll.
RunOfTheMill 08-13-2001, 12:51 AM wait wait wait a second....

http://ss.clickngowebsites.com/preview/preview_997677994_918594054/index.html

IS that a typo?
$ = Pesos ?
RunOfTheMill 08-13-2001, 01:15 AM i think you get a unique license.

Trevor

MCHost-Marc 08-15-2001, 04:04 AM What is up with everyone? Sorry to sound a little bit rude, but the replies here surprised me quite a bit; since this is part of the advertising forums - so please respect the posts. And by the way, the designs look good and i'm sure that most of them are worth more than the listed price.
:eek2:
;)
Kiwi you are totally cool and correct
;)
techforce 08-15-2001, 09:13 AM Some of the designs are cool but.....
you pay around $350 for the right to use this. You do not own this template AND according to thier license agreement you must:
"do not remove or change any of the Website Provider's advertisement banners that link to the Website Provider's Site from the Instant Website without the written permission of the Website Provider."
Why not hire a personal designer pay him that fee and you OWN the design to do what you wish and you can tailer the design to fit your needs.

I did not see that part
well then I must say that if soemone is looking at designs they should make sure that they own the design and that they may do what ever they want with it
also having a unique design is always the best one that is not reused
hmmmm so sad
RunOfTheMill 08-15-2001, 04:17 PM Honu, why do you edit all your posts.
They used to all say that you thought his templates were over-priced, now you edited it to say the contrary.
Why? (Although i do agree with kiwi's comment, and you obviously do too)
But Lets not be a hypocrit now.
ClickNGo - I apologize for my comment.
It was mean to be constructive criticism, but did not come out very constructively.
Sorry about that, i'll be mroe careful next time.
RockOn!
Trevor
People criticize an advertisement for whatever reason, why not just ignore it. You're only bumping it up on the forum anyway. If you have a better offer, why not post your own thread rather than giving a link elsewhere, if you're not offering the same service than what's the deal? Most concious people can make a decision on their own. Bunch of Vultures sometimes.
Okay, rant over.. :)

Aloha
wellI decide to edit cause I forgot it was a offer post I would not want someone raining on my thoughts to what something is worth (you can not put a price on design)
some designs cost more than others
and I did not say they were a great value or not simply took it out ;)
I do think the lic issue is not so good and can give comments on that since some users might get good info out of that
but felt since it is in the offers forum I would not comment on pricing since that is subjective to the designer ;)
if I left it in there someone reads it
it will be in there mind and can make a impression on them so thought it was best to take it out
if it was in a more open forum I would have posted dif
hope that answers the question
was not trying to be hypocritical just trying to stick to doing unto others as they woud do unto me and again ;) thought it did not need to be there

RunOfTheMill 08-15-2001, 04:35 PM I agree with your reasoning.
Thats all.
