well iam starting my hosting company soon. is there any tips or things i should worry about.. please spill you guts here.. i want to learn form you mistakes!

Well im starting too, moving to paid hosting that is. No real tips from experience, but some things you might want to make sure you have done.

1. Incorporate, or have some shielding on the legal part.
2.This goes to 1, make sure you have a good TOS
3.Make sure you have a well thought out plan for advertising, you wont get anywhere without it.
4.Sales support, if you are new, the last thing you want is slow support. Im saying sales because at the start you will get more sales then technical for obvious reason.



I dont know how close you are or how much of this you already have, soon could be a couple of months I guess. Also read around. Not from the hosting side, but from the customer side. In here a lot of people say why they are changing.

how do i make money. advertisment, web hosting directories. promotion, domain registration, customer support, outsourcing support, humanclick and read them all.

i am sure you will learn many things.
