Is it possible to wipe out and reinstall Cobalt linux? Is it possible to wipe out Cobalt linux and install another linux distribution (such as Redhat, or FreeBSD)? Thank you!

This is possible only if you have physical access to the server. It would be you NOC if you have a colocated server.
I don't know why it shouldn't be possible to install another OS.
But you would loose your guarantee (if any) and all functionality which comes with the Cobalt GUI.

If you are considering wiping the RaQ OS with another distro of linux, it would make more sense to sell the box and get another more powerful machine (as you are taking away the advantage - some may disagree, heh - of the RaQ platform).
