View Full Version : Anoxhosting.com
mariohn 08-15-2003, 05:33 PM This is one of the best hosting companies i've ever seen.
Their service, support and speed is great.Their prices are really cheap compared to the great service this company provides. If you are looking for your first host or your are looking for advance hosting options anoxhosting.com is the way to go.
I Really recomended. check them out at www.anoxhosting.com :D
WHT is the best place to find the host that is right for you. i'm glad i found this place.
fshost 08-15-2003, 05:36 PM What is your website with them?
mariohn 08-15-2003, 05:38 PM its jus a forum www.hondurasfutbol.tk and is in spanish. anybody that likes soccer is welcome to register.
CrazyTech 08-15-2003, 05:39 PM It looks to me like you have a free account with them I take it, since you use the free dot.tk forwarding service?
Yeah, and it also redirects to a subdomain of anoxhosting.
Either you're sponsorised by them, either you didn't had the money for a domain... however, it's not good ;)
mariohn 08-15-2003, 05:46 PM I contacted them using WHT and told them I needed good hosting, but did not want a domain. They then offered me a subdomain on their server for free. I bought a customised deal for $4 /month with 500mb storage and 12 gb transfer.
by the way i am so satisfied with thier service that i am planning to register a domain with them...:o

What's not good?
If he is happy with the hosting what's the problem?
mariohn 08-15-2003, 05:51 PM By the way that nice logo was made by blue27. Thanx blue
blue27: why not having your own domain name? For an extra...maximum 10$/yr. ? Don't know...maybe "it's not good" isn't the perfect phrase - just that everyone has his own domain those days...
mariohn: you got that for a very nice price, but still i don't suggest to register your domain name with your hosting company. Why not use namecheap, godaddy or enom?
PS: I also have a gorgeous logo made by blue27. I own you a beer, blue ;)
mariohn 08-15-2003, 05:56 PM I am also concidering that. I was told that I could use any third party company to register my domains. The reason why I didn`t start off with a domain is that I first wanted to see if I could get many visitors to my website.

I think maybe I misunderstood you Ady.
It's always better to have/own you domain name, but it's no reflection on the host was my point.
Mario, just a word of advice. If the .com version of you address is available take it. It's better to spend the $9 at Namecheap or Godaddy (recommended), and have the name. If your forum doesn't become popular you're only out $9 but if it does become popular someone might grab the name on you.

I couldn't agree more.
mariohn: since when you're hosted with anoxhosting.com?
I will ask you to come in a month a so with an review about them ;) I never heard of them, to be honest
Best regards and good luck with your host.
mariohn 08-15-2003, 06:23 PM 2 weeks
ezbnc 08-15-2003, 06:28 PM you have only been with them for 2weeks? Hardly long enough to say there service is great try to wait till 3 months and see then.
mariohn 08-15-2003, 06:30 PM I will be back in a month or 2 with an update about their service.
CrazyTech 08-15-2003, 09:23 PM We'll be waiting to hear. Sorry I jumped on you first to see if you were sponsored or not, but you have to understand, someone who is sponsored for free will just about say anything for their host. Just have to be cautious :) Glad you're happy.
mariohn 08-16-2003, 10:01 AM No Offence Taken;)
wirehosts 08-16-2003, 11:14 AM They don't seem to give away a lot of data transfer with their hosting packages.
CrazyTech 08-16-2003, 12:19 PM Well each host is entitled to make their own plans. Most people are spoiled by WHT expecting every ounce of Transfer for their money they can get. Too many people are used to getting 5 GB of transfer for $1-$2. I think their transfer amounts are just fine.
