Thread located here (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=1382337)

I posted this in the webhost request forum, received many offers and then went to reply a few days later but the reply didn't bump my topic and it's nowhere to be found in that forum?

What gives ?

Thanks for any help...

FYI threads in the advertising forums can't be bumped, they remain in the order they were posted.

I'm sure a mod would let you know if your thread was removed - are you sure it's not there?

I can view the thread via your link, so it's not been deleted. As upbergeek22 already stated, threads in that forum are displayed by start date, so your thread may not be on the first page of the forum anymore.

So I have to contact each person to let them know that I am reviewing each offer?

Eww, heh, don't really like how it's set up, but I'll deal with it.

This also means that ONLY the Web hosts that were online at the time my thread was on the 1st ( maybe 2nd ) page can submit offers, that's not very good either.

It is a little annoying how quickly topics disappear, but it's far better than the alternative, which is seeing threads repeatedly bumped.

It makes things alot easier on those who read the forum. There would be an absolute mess if you could bump topics.

No anyone can still submit offers - many hosts actually do visit the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc pages when looking for customers.
