I am looking for a billing software which I can run from my own computer. At this stage I do not wish to use a program which resides on a server.
The billing software is to be used for my web hosting business.
:D Any ideas?

I will say go with Quickbooks Pro as it has an email feature to send the invoices.

Those softwares mentioned (QuickBooks and Money) do not have a bulk or automated feature. So, for small businesses it is great. But for web hosting it is not efficient enough. In other words, they do not support recurring transactions which means every month you need to create an invoice for every client and send each invoice individually. If your small then it works, but eventually it becomes time consuming and inefficient.

Patrick,
Actually QuickBooks Pro 2001 does in a sense support recurring transactions. Simply hit CTRL+M on the invoice you want to recur. You can then select the option:
Automatically Enter
You can then specify whether you want it to be automatically entered every month, quarter, etc. It still is somewhat time consuming but this is what we use as its backend reporting features are superb when it comes to tax time.
I just don't want everyone to think that it is totally useless for web hosting as I know of a few companies besides myself that do use it with success. If anyone has any questions about the program and it's capabilities feel free to e-mail me and I will try to answer you as best as I can.
