I hate bringing this up here, but I was wondering if anyone else receives e-mail replies from pwebtech.
I only got my replies when I contacted jay@sales, but when I placed my order last week, I have not received any replies to my requests.
They have great phone support though. Everytime I called someone picked up. But I'm not a big fan of making calls for support.
Does anyone else experience problems with e-mail responses, or is it just me?

AH-Tina 08-06-2001, 09:50 PM I have had absolutely AMAZING support and response from pwebtech.com. Jay and Ed both are almost always on ICQ and, as you said, available via phone always.
Ed and I actually had emails back and forth this morning that were almost the equivalent to real-time chat.
If you're having trouble with pwebtech.com, I would be truly surprised.

As I said phone support is great, but I do not receive my e-mail replies, that is why I was wondering if anyone has the same problem. I feel more comfortable with e-mail, and that is why I prefer it more.

AbbasJaffarali 08-07-2001, 02:21 AM I agree that Pegasus has been a little laid back as far as support over email is concerned. But they're always available over the phone, which is better in my opinion as you get answers faster.
I too, have ordered a dedicated server from them and it has been about ten days and it still hasn't been set up. When I spoke with them last night, I was informed that their servers have reached Equinix but they're waiting for IPs to be assigned. I hope this gets resolved soon.
They seem like real good people which is probably the reason why they're getting over-burdened with work- cause everybody wants to work with them.

jayglate 08-07-2001, 02:47 PM Once again with the special issue. We level3 has routed our ips, but changed our gateway info. So we are heading back down to newark, this evening to change the info on the router, and everyone who ordered a server and who's servers is in equinix will be up by tomorrow.
Email, responses have been pretty slow on this issue, as we have been fighting with level3 and there damn 5 business days policy. As, well as standard tech support, being bombarded with emails and ICQ's saying where is my server. We just dont' have the time right now to answer all of them.
So everyone rest assured, we are here and working hard. If you must have an answer, please call us at 1-888-734-9320. And lightspeed we went over this already.

I wasn't notified about it before, so I couldn't have known why responses were so slow.

I understand that we went over this already. My reply was not meant as a criticism. My guess is that you thought it was. Sorry.
I was simply responding to Bogdan's questions regarding pwebtech's e-mail history. I think my original thread has some pertinent information and I do not want to reiterate the issues, just make Bogdan aware of the thread.

AbbasJaffarali 08-09-2001, 05:56 PM Seems like all I'm getting from these guys nowadays is a ru-around. No replies on ICQ or email and if you call them, they're either not in the office or in a meeting.
It's really sad when a company doesn't keep you informed of what's happening, especially if they've already charged your credit card for the setup as well as first month's hosting fee.
C'mon Pegasus- I had heard some great things about you guys before I signed up. We NEED answers.
