John Keymer 08-12-2003, 08:13 PM | How much would you say this domain is worth = http://www.booksanddvds.com
Never had any actual content on it - is just pointing at a parking page now...
May be useful to some company - suggestions? |
4solutions 08-12-2003, 09:21 PM I think it's a great domain name!
As is, you could probably get $50 to $500 for it. Depends on how long you want to wait for the right buyer.
While you are waiting, I would develop the site by putting in several specific affiliate links to Amazon.com books. Get this sucker listed in Google and watch the hits come it. If you can get the hits up, then you can sell this domain as a going business. That's always worth more than just a parked domain. |
John Keymer 08-12-2003, 09:23 PM | 50-500??? - that's quite a difference in the upper and lower range!!!
I have signed up for a affiliate in amazon- Will get submitting to search engines soon. :) |

Their lowest price I believe is $688 for any domain. If you wait for that one buyer that really wants it, then you'll get your price. But if you want to turn it quick, you can probably pick up a quick $50 in the Related offers and Requests section here at WHT. WHT basically offers wholesale pricing versus retail out in the general world.
Best of Luck and Welcome to the Forum ;) |
John Keymer 08-12-2003, 09:44 PM is that buydomains.com?
Also, thanks for the info and help. :) |

John Keymer 08-12-2003, 10:43 PM Where would you suggest trying to sell then? |
4solutions 08-12-2003, 10:57 PM Well, you seem to already have it up for sale on eBay. Might bid on it myself now that you got me thinking. ;) |
John Keymer 08-13-2003, 11:28 AM E-bay don't get many bids in the Domains section at all. :( I was looking for a more 'specialized' place |
