Would it be logical to try and code an AIM Bot to allow a user to access their e-mail on AIM? It was a wild idea that I had and I was wondering if it would be secure/logical to try at it from a coding perspective.

It would be as secure as you make it, like any other thing in the world. Although I don't think email on AIM is very appealing myself, it may be a drooler for some people.
