Splash host is considering a reseller plan of:
1gb web space
10gb bandwidth
upto 40 domain names
your own name servers.
Control panel to manage accounts
php
mysql
as many subdomains as needed
as many databases as needed
$60/month
would any one be interested in this if i was to start offering this?

It's because I've seen deals around here (one very recent) that offered three times the diskspace/bandwidth you do for the same price.
Nothing personal. I'm sure you offer a great service.
It's just that you asked for an opinion of your offer.
And this is my opinion.

I think I'd like to withdraw my previous posts.
But, then this thread would look a little distressed:rolleyes:
You asked if anyone would be interested. I said not me.
You asked; why not. I said; I'm a cheap date.
I'm not about to start discussing anyone elses deal by name.
If you would have listed some particulars, I would voice my opinion however;)
But, I think if you started going that way it would defeat the purpose of your thread.
Maybe you should just let the thread go the way it is and see if anybody tells me to leave you alone because it's a good deal.
I'm certainly not trying to flame you or anything. Far from it.
I'm only trying to give you my opinion. I thought that's what you wanted.
Maybe you should have just posted it as an offer. Then I wouldn't have replied to it at all.
Not that it's not a good offer. Just that I'm not looking for a reseller plan right now. (pretty soon though)
You're making me wish I hadn't posted here. I don't see where either one of us will gain from this type of discussion.

What about?
500mb of space
7.5gb bandwidth
upto 30 domain names
your own name servers.
Control panel to manage accounts
php
mysql
as many subdomains as needed
as many databases as needed
$30/month
Would anyone be interested in that?

I think your first plan is fine, most of the people don't need more bandwidth and diskspace.
Maybe you can inform all about the e-mail options.

You can basically have as many pop3 accounts, e-mail responders , mailing lists as you need.

Your plan is very competitive. 10GB seems to be the norm. offered to resellers in that price region. We were reselling for $99 a month last year with 250MB diskspace and 10GB bandwidth and a limit of 2 POP3 accounts per domain resold... oh and a $5 setup charge on each account we created. Kinda puts your deal into perspective huh? :)

:) would you like an account then?

We've kinda outgrown reselling now. ;) 18 months ago we would have taken you up on the offer... if thats of any consolation. :cartman:
