Anybody to recommend an advertiser programm which pays or anybody want to buy some compaigns from us?

to me it took much longer to figure it out,
i was with cj 2 month , almost 4 milion impressions for a 200$ check(that spend alot of time on the way).

im now searching for something pay for CPM

We have about 150.000 - 200.000 page views per month and send out 4000-5000 emails a week (and fast growing).
There MUST be any way to make at least $300 a month!!! :nuts:

I wanted to say that a different way actually :D but after some thinking i decided to send it to them as above. :D

Start selling your own space. If you are doing 200,000 impressions per month you can get away with around $1.50 per CPM, ofcourse you still need to serve them and that cost bandwidth. Also form some short term partnerships with related companies to expand traffic. I am not an expert but in todays banner ad situation I would not really count on the big advertising firms to take you seriously until you hit around 500,000 impressions.

Post a CPM rate in the forums here, even if you are not making the goal of $300.00, afterall $175.00 is better than $0. :smokin:

The current ad market sucks. There's a huge supply (available web impressions) and no demand (advertisers). Every ad network currently sucks - some worse than others but they're all bad. None of them are seriously looking for more inventory (they have plenty) but a few will accept a site here and there. Selling on your own will likely get you nowhere unless you serve a particularly valuable niche and have time to devote to ad sales.

I suggest you either:
1) suck it up and make your pennies in this market and hope things get better
2) find another way to make money from your site
3) give up and get out of the business

Let's face it even Yahoo! is getting crushed in this market. There's not a lot of bright spots for small publishers.

Well there is one, but who really wants to start displaying forced pop up ads and banners for 'adult sites'. :smokin:

I dont know how you got the fact that with 200,000 impressions per month you can sell at 1.5$ CPM... If you manage though, please tell me :)

I run a site which recieves anywhere from 10,000,000-15,000,000 impressions per month and up to 500,000 uniques per month.


We make pennies from that, partly because our traffic is worthless and partly because the advertising market is bad...

You need a dedicated ad sales person to sell on your own unless you really have a good niche or great demographics... You can do it on your own of course but I dont know how most people feel about cold calling, I dont like it.

I have noticed ppl following this thread come to the website mentioned in my details. Obvisiously looking for banners. So, NO, IT'S NOT THE SITE I AM TALKING ABOUT! But the other site (i run in my spare time) has also to do with hosting. So if you want to buy cheap impressions or click throughs just contact me. I also provide an advertiser login where they can check their stats (impressions, click-throught's and banner management).
