been trying to install a self-signed SSL certificate in Cpanel. having a heck of a time. I went to generate an SSL certificate and signing request. I filled out all the variables. For password am I suppose to put the password of the domain or do I just make up one?

Ok so I put the password of the domain just to be safe, clicked on create. Got sent 2 emails. Then I went to install an SSL Cert, and setup domain. I filled in domain and user. My host provided me with 2 IP addresses to register my nameservers so can I just use on of those?

I clicked on Fetch for the key and it found it. However when I click on Fetch for the crt nothing happens. not sure what I'm doing wrong here. What about the SSL CERTIFICATE SIGNING REQUEST email that was sent to me. What am I suppose to do with that? any help is appreciated, been at this all day. thanks!

For password, fill in anything. It's also not used typically.

For self-signed SSL, login to WHM, click on

"Reset cPanel/WHM Certificate"

Use that function.
